UNESCO's Virtual Laboratory Toolkit

The Virtual Laboratory Toolkit provides an extensive set of free person-to-person (P2P) communication tools (audio and video conference, scientific text chat, whiteboard, collaborative authorship, portal and mailing list management, etc.), and also basic advice on person-to-equipment (P2E) tools.

Learning something new.

While at NECC and EduBlogger Con, I must say that I was completely overwhelmed by what is going out there in the ed tech space. Creating networks of purpose

I attended an eChicago conference last Friday where one of the presentations showed how youth in Skokie, Illinois are learning to use technology to become voices and news broadcasters for their community. Is this a school based activity? No. It's a library based activity.
