I apparently left the coat behind as I staggered toward the track gate. One more lesson from Educon...

I have a new blackberry and have been trying to learn how to tweet, transfer contacts etc. I really did it to myself this semester... I am teaching 1 dual credit course and 2 evening courses, design fundamentals and elem. art methods for wncc. In addition taking a class in technology leadership from unk online. I will have a complete online course in graphic design next semester, and web/CT is eating my lunch. I much prefer moodle and I am using nings for 2 of my classes with much success.. we love them!

I was just browsing through the discussion about obstacles facing online learning/educators and noticed you're looking for some sort of hookup with students from elsewhere.

I'm a secondary (Year 10 - so 15 year olds) English teacher and have my class making regular blog posts that aren't necessarily curriculum related (they can write about anything, the goal is to encourage them to express themselves).

I'm certainly interested in at least talking about possibly connections - not sure how we can figure it all out, but am sure we could nut something out!
