Our Brainyflix video contest just ended, and I wanted to thank you for helping us get the word out. We got 800 submissions from across the country!

That said, MIT was really happy with the results and will let us run another contest, so we're going for it! But this time, we're gonna have kids create Brainypics flashcards - which are images and sentences paired up with a one of our SAT/ACT words. The contest ends May 22nd, and there'll be iTunes and a cash prize like last time. To boot, we'll double the payout if the kids can hit a certain goal. We'd love to have your kids involved. If it's not a good fit for them, maybe you have some colleagues you could pass our info to.

I met with a few teachers yesterday and heard several great ideas. I finally stole Mr. Noah’s folder, he has been sick for the last few days. How are you? No, I haven't read the "Minds" article yet, but will tonight or tomorrow. My classes are getting ready for the Language and Reading portion of the AHSGE test as well, and boy are we stressed! We are doing practice tests on USA testprep today in the lab, so I have a little time to explore. My 9th grade class is writing expository essays and will be doing research next week. Any ideas other than using a virtual library to incorporate technology with that? I am searching ideas in my "spare" time, so anything you can possibly help me with would be great!!
