Hi Ken,
Sounds great mate! I'm very new to voice thread so I'll explore it a little over the next 24 hours and get back to you. I'm teaching an immigration, refugee, and multiculturalism unit to my year 9s at the moment, so a connection would work well.

I have never tried voicethread. I think my students would love this. I have found that my students (and I) have a very narrow view of the world. I had one gal in 8th grade a few years ago tell me, "there are whites and Indians". It blew her mind when we went to a track meet and one team had their names on the back of their shirts. I explained the way the name is spelled sometimes can show what culture they are from. This is when she brought out that she thought their was only "whites and Indians", she did not realize there are many "White" cultures. I would really like to do this. I believe it would be a very valuable lesson for myself and my students.

This would be very cool! I have never worked with Voicethread before, so this is perfect for this class I am taking at Drexel University. Let me take a look at this early this week and get back to you!

Hi Ken, I'm teaching one class of Grade 7 at an international school in Switzerland where technology is integrated into the science curriculum. The rest I'm teaching elementary IT. Let me see how I can join with your class on this. I liked looking at their vision of the future. Am trying to do more with Voicethread myself so this could fit in nicely. Maggie

Dear Ken,
Thank you for your invitation to join your class. I think your project is very interesting. I am also very impressed on the creative videos you posted. This project will definitely stimulate students' creation and attitude to the future. I love it. It is a great opportunity for my students to corporate with your class through this project. Please email to me at giang_tran117@yahoo.com, and we will find way to do it

This is an interesting project. What program did you use to create the video? I can think of several ways that I can use this in a library setting. I am new to Ning. TDodson
