Hi Carolyn. I was wondering if you have students or educator friends who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
Hi... I saw your not-so-recent post about Book Reviews where you mentioned you'd soon be starting one. I was wondering if you had because I'm starting a similar project at my middle school and I'm looking for great examples. Thanks!
Hi,I have just joined the group (about 30 minutes ago) and I'm very excited about getting a presentable site together. I love your site and I love the ideas you have presented here in regards to Web 2.0 in the classroom and as a teaching and motivational tool.
I am a grad student at FSU and also a brand new school media specialist, as I will be opening up a brand new school this fall. I am doing a project in one of my classes this semester that calls for me to interview a school librarian using new technology. Would you at all be interested in this? I would love to interview you...it should not be a long interview.
Thanks for your time. I hope you don't mind that I left this in your comment wall...I didn't see an email link.

Thanks for inviting me to be your friend! I'm thinking a great deal about what will motivate my students who find reading difficult to read, knowing that the best way to find reading less difficult is to practice it. I think I need some high interest, short books to get their attention, and maybe just 4 or 5 titles that some of them could read and discuss together. What do you think?
Thanks so much for getting my class involved with Reading is Fundamental!! And for the support you and your staff give to the reluctant readers in my classes.
Thanks for the substantial post on my page. I wanted to ask you for your permission to reprint it on my blog as a separate post all to itself. Would you be opposed?
Carolyn, I saw your posting about Tom Friedman. Don't know if you are aware of it but MIT's Open Courseware has a one hour video of him delivering the crux of "The World Is Flat." You can watch it online here: http://mitworld.mit.edu/video/266/
