Thank you so much for replying Helen, your site here looks amazing and once I've caught up on my assignments I'm eager to explore it further. I have not heard of twitter before but again when time allows I will look into it. Thanks again for the moral support and good luck with all you endeavour to do.

Thanks Helen for your welcome, I'v added you as a friend, hope you don't mind! Us Aussies need to stick together. Isn't Year 4 great, although this year I have 34 kids which is quite a lot.
I may contact you again for further assistance, am just finding my way around at the moment. Your current job sounds interesting. Do you miss kids or do you still work with them? Regards,
Paul K
P.S. My sister Lynda Kelly is out there somewhere.
Looking forward to being a host/greeter with you. I'm glad we are all coming from different specialties and geographical areas. I'm an elementary teacher in Southern California near San Diego. Nice to have the opportuntiy to give back a little.
Thanks for the comment on my vegemite adventure! It was interesting, a sort of salty spread that would be good in small amounts as part of a varied groups of snacks. Kids were hilarious. How do you eat it, for example?
Thank you for your kind words! I love the ease of connecting to new people today and I really love Classroom2.0 and twitter for this too. If you ever have a second and would like to check out an online learning community where kids and teachers learn together, try out http://artsnacks.org
I hope all goes well for you and those you care for!

Thanks for visiting my blog, Helen. I am just getting my feet wet with all of this Web 2.0 information and starting to learn about Ning. I look forward to learning alot from everyone out there.

Helen--I am having an I.T. (ICT in your neck of the woods) Open House in my office with examples of what technology can do. I'm putting colonial lanterns around the office, will play colonial music, etc.--the teachers are excited...

Here's the link to the transcript - word for word + replies. I'm going to be making it prettier to use as a handout, just email me @ kolson29@gmail.com if you want it.
