About Me: I am the Director of the Institute for Public Safety at Central Ohio Technical College (over Criminal Justice, the Basic Police Academies, Fire Science, etc.) Previously, I served as the program manager, Criminal Justice at Seminole Community College in Sanford, FL. A former police chief, I write articles and provide media commentary on police topics and have been doing so since 1990.
