We use Blackboard Vista and another software named Softchalk, to create the modules. There is a great deal of focus placed on the discussion board interaction as well as the team huddle rooms. We expect students to engage in the material both on the theoretical and practical levels. Hello Jenny and welcome to classroom2.0 I teach secondary students in a small rural school in Australia. We find it difficult to attract student teachers to conduct teaching rounds in our school as we are so distant from univeristies and accommodation is lacking. Therefore, I am about to work with Country Education Project who are committed to looking after small country schools and keep their education viable, and a university to look at virtual teaching rounds for their education students. Is this something that you are involved in and if so, how do you go about it? What online tools do you use etc? Any help would be much appreciated.
