About Me: The School District of West Salem Curriculum and Instruction Department provides content area leadership and professional development in curriculum, instruction, and assessment with the ultimate goal of enhancing student achievement. We accomplish our work by collaborating with district teachers, staff, and administrators to:

•Identify essential learning in the content areas,
•Implement research-based best practices,
•Develop multiple assessments that inform instruction and document student learning,
•Support district- and school-based content initiatives that reflect best practices, and
•Link the School District of West Salem and schools with local, state, and national professional resources and professional organizations.

I feel energized, and humbled to work with so many talented and dedicated educational professionals. I look forward to adding value to the learning community of the West Salem School District.
