Glenn,
Well, since I've switched over to being mostly a technology integration specialist here at Ellinwood you and your fellow subject specialist at ESSDACK are my new heroes!!!
Portage just released an iPhone/iPod touch app for teachers for performance assessment; GradePad. If you like I can send you a promo code to download a free evaluation version.
With your work in Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
Here’s a Public Class on Technology Integration you might be interested in given by Nellie Deutsch.
Hi Glenn. I was wondering if you have students or educator friends who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
My name is John Evans. I've recently found myself with a huge interest in the educational applications of using gaming with students. To this end I've put together the Gaming in Education wiki as a collaboration point for others who may be like minded. I saw your name mentioned in the Gaming in the Classroom discussion last year and thought I'd touch base with you. Wondering if you have any thoughts, ideas or individuals which might further the discussion along.
I use your resources in my classes.....Thanks. Also, Tonya and Tammy have been featured speakers for me at GaETC. (I am the program chair for the conference.) Welcome to Classroom 2.0!
