Hi Annellie, I would like to ask you about a topic to discuss - if you like. We can discuss about private issues but it´s another one.
Thus, maybe it is interesting for you to ask my about some European solutions?
Cheers
Hans

Hans,

Thanks for the tips. I'll check out your European blog; I'm sure that will be a great way to expand my horizons a bit.....

I'll let you know how I make out.

Hey Annellie, thanks for becoming friends!
Well, Web 2.0 could be interactive using web applications like blogs, wikis, podcast or social networks.
You are looking for some ideas as to interactive work:
May you can get some inspirations from Europe:

Actually it was Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators on DiscoverySchool.com. I've never been a part of a social network before, so I thought this was perfect.

Right now I'm not very technologically oriented, but I'm working on it. I'm looking to transition our homeschooling from the more traditional approach to the growing technologically-based education. Also, with only one student, we want to connect with other homeschoolers as well. I believe this is where education is heading, and we want to evolve along with everyone else.

Have been doing a lot of reading and searching. Found some great sites that I'm exploring. But not really sure what Web 2.0 is truly all about. and how it can help us. Do you have a great site or other to direct the 2.0 newbie?

Thanks for your welcome and for your help.

Very cool, a homeschooling parent. I've been talking more and more about homeschooling in my interview series (www.EdTechLive.com). What drew you to this site?
