I too recently purchased an Itouch so its great to hear what you are doing with it, I have a Macbook at home which I cannot even tell you how incredible it is.
have you checked out any of the teachertube videos on professional instruction? Some are extremely motivating, especially the one on how students learn

The only advice I have is to......well I guess I have no advice. Wait! Maybe......just try to use it when ever you can.....just make sure you can back up the use of it with research....which won't be hard!
