I am new to Classroom20 and wanted to introduce myself. I am certified to teach elementary school in New York State. Right now I am working towards my Masters in Instructional Technology.
Are you a teacher in Melbourne? What do you do? I am working on a project centered around multiculturalism and cross-cultural understanding. I would love to learn about your culture. How does the school system work? Cultural foods? Traditional clothing? Languages spoken?
I actually did an internship in a school in Syndey last winter. I traveled north to Cairns and west to Uluru, but I never made it to Melbourne. I really wanted to travel the Great Ocean Road, so I will have to come back some time!
If you have the time, I would love to learn more about Melbourne (any differences it may have from Sydney) and your culture.
Hi there - I'm a teacher visiting Melbourne on Saturday. We're organising a teacher get together, if you're interested in joining us: http://melbourneedmeetup.wikispaces.com/
Oh, good, I've found one more opportunity to publicly state how much I value having Edublogs in my teacher's toolkit, both for training and personal purposes. Thank you, James.
