My 14-year-old daughter noticed that I was using my real picture on this group and said let me know that she didn't think it was a smart thing for me to do, considering what I've been telling her. That's why I have a new image made with Photoshop filters. It's nice to know that my kids listen to me once in a while.... for seconds at a time.
Of course, there are pics of her on Facebook taken by her friends and anyone can copy and save them! I've made sure that she's enabled…

I received an e-mail from one of my lists - Safekids. In it was a blurb about a case in which a court ordered that a middle-school student who was put on probation for criticizing a principal on Myspace in an "expletive-laden entry " has the right of free-speech. Earlier, a judge had declared the remarks obscene. The court of appeals found that her remarks were protected as political speech "under both the state and federal constitutions because they dealt with school policy" and said that…

It's good to have your voice added to ours! I enjoyed your discussion of forum organization under "can somebody explain this"--especially since this is my first experience of a social forum. I have no ruler to measure against, and don't know what other options people are used to!
