Maggie, since I'm in Portland I would be happy to get you information or do whatever I can to roll out the hospitality wagon. What is your coastal destination?

At the moment I'm busily recreating my courses for summer M.Ed. and M.A.T. ed tech classes. I'm using an open source software that combines a centrally focused instructional blog and wikis with individual student blogs and wikis. This software also hosts podcasts, artifacts for e-portfolios, and does conversations to take student curriculum development and puts it into a wonderful format with reflection and standards and research.

My classes start in mid-July and I have to get adjuncts trained before then. Summer is always intense...I teach a three semester year.

Just healed from surgery to remove the hardware from my leg and ankle - broke and dislocated them last August. Seems the healing journey never ends. (Smile) As a pre-teen I believed once you were a "grown up" you were done and had all the answers. (Tee hee)

My best to you Maggie.

Hi Maggie! I can't tell you how many times I thought I should send you an invite - glad to see you here. How has the last year been? Hope it is a good one and you are cruising through the end of Spring semester. Heart hugs!

I hope to take some time to explore this in the next few days. It looks like it may be a great tool for education.
