Event Description

Would you like to add a free, interactive technology component to your summer mathematics workshop? You can use the free tools from Conceptua Math as part of your teacher training in fractions this summer, and your participants will be able to use the same tools for free during the school year.

In this 40 min. session you'll learn how to use the software to:

* Improve teacher knowledge of fractions
* Improve classroom teaching strategies
* Have conversations with students about fraction sense
* Progress from conceptual models to procedures and higher-order thinking
