19 Pencils

Hi all, I just wanted to do a quick post on 19 Pencils a free educational Web 2.0 site for teachers. This is a great way for educators to share educational content in a controlled and safe environment.

What a cool idea! I signed up and thank you for the free premium upgrade! The interface is very nice and easy to navigate. The only issue I had was I was having trouble adding content my page or my favorites; not sure if it was my computer or the website. I was able to add some content but it wasn't allowing me do so easily. I will check again later to see if it works easier. Other than that I am excited to try this out with my students. I think this will be a great way to share web resources they can access at home. I also think it will be nice to use as a structured and safe research site without having my students navigate the entire web. Thanks for sharing!
