2nd grade video conference

I teach 2nd grade language arts and math in Monmouth Beach, NJ and I am looking for ideas for video conferencing.  At this age group I think it would be fun to video conference wi.th an author. I also think it would be beneficial to conference with a 2nd grade class from another location.

Any input would be appreciated
