5-8 "Dream" Technology Curriculum

If you were given the opportunity to create a sequenced technology curriculum, beginning with 5th grade students and ending with 8th grade students, which skills would you include on your map?

Please keep in mind that this is a chance to empower your students, giving them exposure to all the skills you feel are truly relevant today, not yesterday, and the sky is the limit. There is no red tape in this discussion. I'm very curious to hear what you have to say.
