New Job-New Programs to learn

I'm starting at a new job at an elementary school closer to home, and was wondering if anybody has any experience w/ these programs and if so if they could share some thoughts/hints on them: Skyward (payroll), Alexandria (LRC catalog system), First Class (email/collaborative system). I'm coming from a school that used all different programs for these and am curious to what I might find on here.
