cycling proficiency test
Does anyone outside of the UK have a cycling proficiency test in their country? This has appeared in a chapter written for the forthcoming second edition of Coming of Age so I need to know if it means anything to most people. Thanks

Terry: I had to look at Wikipedia to make sure I knew what a cycling proficiency test was. My kids (US) have never had such a class, as far as I know, but my initial impression from the phrase "cycling proficiency" ended up being right so you're likely to be OK using the term.
