Topics
Topics vary each year depending on our presenters. Presenters are usually educators who are using a new technique in the classroom they want to share with others. Please think about what you’re doing to integrate technology into your school or library program, and then consider sharing that expertise with other education professionals. Possible topics for presentation include:
• Clickers
• Smartboards
• Wikis
• Podcasts
• Preparing for State Assessments
• Praxis at the Highest level
• Leading the Leaders
• Gaming in the Classroom
• Social Networking: Protecting our Kids
• Excel for Educators
• Death by Powerpoint
• Building E-Learning Architectures
• Collaborative Learning Environments
• Digital Storytelling
1 Hr. Graduate Credit (Optional) for $199
Participation in the conference makes attendees eligible for 1 hour of graduate credit from Pittsburg State University. To receive the one-hour credit, students will need to attend the all day session and follow-up by submitting a two-page paper. Instructions will be given at the conference along with relevant details concerning the assignment. Cost for this optional credit is $199.
This conference will also count for candidates currently enrolled in the Ed Tech Program at PSU as an Elective course (SSLS 732 Topics in Ed Tech) and it will also meet specified requirements of the practicum (talk to your practicum advisor for more details).

Registration and Fees
The cost of conference registration is $40.00. Presenters will not be required to pay the registration fee (this includes multiple presenters).
Graduate credit is $199.00. Anyone wishing to receive graduate credit for attendance will be required to pay the $199.00 credit fee (including presenters).
