I've recently started a new blog, http://www.edurealms.com. After finishing Marc Prensky's Don't Bother Me Mom -- I'm Learning, I decided it was time that I began to assess just what I'd learned playing games, specifically Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplay Games (MMORPG's). My "10 Things" list is on the website and I welcome comments! Have you learned anything from gaming?

Great blog, Lucas! I'm a big gamer and fan of gaming in education. If you haven't already, you should check out any of James Paul Gee's work (What Video Games Have to Teach Us About Learning and Literacy) or David Williamson Shaffer's "How Computer Games Help Children Learn" http://epistemicgames.org/eg/ . Both offer more "things" to be learned from video games.

Looking forward to reading more of your blog in the future.
I don't even try, but the k12 learners 3-8 grades practice communication skills, collaboration skills, connection skills, mouse skills, keyboard skills, eye-hand coordination skills, online safety skills....oh the list.....
Oh... you should try!

;)
