Need Help Finding Location For Publishing Iraq Bibliotherapy Piece

We have a gifted sixth grader who has a father stationed in Iraq. She has been working on a variety of writing pieces to help deal with her anxiety and loss - certainly a bibliotherapy type situation. We are looking for a place where she might publish her writings and perhaps receive responses from other students in the same situation. Does anyone know of a safe, reputable site that we might we able use?
