It is a great site that allows students to play and create their own comic strips.

Professor Garfield has a comic creator. It's a free web based program. There are up to 12 boxes to use and you can also create your own characters and save them. It saves to a database on your own personal computer so the students would have to use the same machine to retrieve them.
