Hi Everyone!
It has been awhile since I shared this and since we have so many new members, I thought it would be worthwhile. For many of us we are approaching the end of a school year, and I wanted to offer some resources for students to help with finals.
I teach US and Ancient World History at the secondary level and have created podcasts for my students to help them master the NYS Regents exams they are required to take for graduation. I have inclusion classes and many of my students have real retention problems. As our school site is a closed site, I decided to create my own site so they could be used by other teachers in their classes as well.
See the Subjects at
www.masterymaze.com! My students have downloaded the podcasts, as well as watched them from the site with some amazing results! They are very short-- 6 minutes max generally and cover just some of the high points in the various topic areas.
If you register for the site you can right click and download them to an iPod or other player. You can also get them in iTunes in the free podcast section of k-12 under the name "MasteryCast"!
Please feel free to use them with your students, and pass the link to other teachers who may be interested!
They have really worked in my classroom! Thanks.
Sue
