Blogging Data

I am currently collecting info for an Action Research Project related to blogging. This paper will be part of my final assessment for a piece in the National Writing Project. Has anyone collected data with regards to student participation in blogs that extended beyond the school year? Or has anyone tracked student writing scores before blogging and then afterward? Help!
