I'm looking to interview anyone with an inspiring 1-to-1 story - something made possible educationally by teachers and students having laptops or tablets. For example, The Urban School has a terrific project called "Telling Our Stories" (http://www.tellingstories.com) whereby students interview Holocaust survivors and publish the interviews on the Web. They've expanded it to include Japanese WWII internees and WWII concentration camp liberators. It will be for a keynote in South Dakota and possibly for an article. Please post your 1-to-1 story and also contact me if you're willing to be interviewed. Thank you!

Hi Pamela,
This site might be of use

Great direct link, Cindy - the Irving ISD program is really terrific. Alice Owen is the leader of that program and wrote one of the letters that was published in the NYTimes article about 1-to-1 earlier this month - scroll to the second page at http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/08/opinion/l08laptop.html; Alice also recently worked with a bunch of ISTE professionals to get a 1-to-1 SIG started at ISTE.

Thanks very much for that link, Cindy.
