I'm looking to connect my students with another American Literature class for an online interview or discussion, probably using Skype. They are working on a synthesis project connecting the literature we've read so far to the larger course theme: What does it mean to have an American mindset? What is the identity of America? How does the literature we've read reflect these ideals? realities? stereotypes? (We've read short stories from Irving and Hawthorne so far.) It could be a one-on-one conversation between two students or a whole class conversation, depending on willing participants. I've signed on to ePals, but I thought I'd ask the edtech community too! Thanks.
