I have a few questions for you because I am writing a blog entry and I need some feedback before I write it.

I am writing about "Who is Web 2.0"

Being a former researcher numbers always are interesting to me.

Hi Tim,
Just curious: why race? How about country of residence? How about a category for educator with sub-categories such as HS, elem, specialist, etc; and non-educators with sub-categories such as type of work. How about urban, suburban, and rural? If from the US, how about east, west, midwest? Also, you may want to know who is a parent. And even more: you could ask how long have you been using CR2.0, what is your primary interest on the site, and categories of people you'd most like to see join. But forgive me if this is just all extra information, not what you're looking for. Stats can be fascinating. I'm a numbers person, too. Wouldn't it be fun to post some illuminating graphs?

I am asking because I have a theory about who is Web 2.0 for Ed TEch and I want to see if I am correct....
Look at the above faces and see if you see a pattern...or patterns...

3 women, 3 men, 1 purposefully uncertain, all seem to be Caucasian, experience varies. I don't see another pattern...yet. Can't wait to see you reveal your theory and ultimately, purpose for this very unscientific survey.

While I understand what Tim is doing, shouldn't we all be employing the same safety strategies we beg our students to use? All of us on this forum are so trusting about the information that we've posted here because "it's for educators" thus, it must be safe. I recently had a conversation with some sixth grade girls who were posting information on myspace. Full names, ages, school and photos. When I pointed out to them that it would take someone who wanted to do them harm about a nanosecond to figure out anything she or he wanted to know about them, their response was, "Oh, no. This website is only for kids."
