Hi
I'm going to Atlanta for the NECC Conference, so if you're there too, why not come along and say "hello"? Here are the events I'm actively involved in:
Freedman, Terry: 'The Coming of Age Web 2.0 Book: Idea To Implementation' in Galleria (Posters) at 9:00 on Monday
It's a poster session, meaning that you can come up, find out more about the Coming of Age project: how the first edition got started, and what's happening with the second edition. Or you can just come up and say "Hi".
I'm also involved in a birds-of-a-father session, at which people can turn up and discuss stuff. I'm very keen on discussing the next phase of the Coming of Age project. The details of the session are as follows: it's under Steve's name.
Hargadon, Steve: 'Free, Open Source, and Web 2.0 Software for the Classroom' in B308 at 16:45 on Tuesday
I may be involved in another impromptu session too. It seems strange discussing an impromptu session in advance, but I think ad hoc events need to be planned in meticulous detail. Peggy George has alerted me to the possibility of running such a session, so watch this space.
I'm putting together a newsletter, which will be available at
http://www.ictineducation.org later today, and there is a Coming of Age community at
http://comingofage.ning.com
Cheers
Terry
