Hi Tom
Welcome to Classroom 2.0. I noticed you're a music teacher. Music + technology seem to be a great fit more and more with 2.0 applications.
Welcome to Classroom 2.0 Andrew. The pace of change with technology and education means we are all continually learning about what's out there, what's new, and what it can be used for. This is a great place to do that!
Hello there,
Michelle here, from Australia, joining after participating in a blogging professional learning activity yesterday. i'm keen to try using blogs with my students.
PS I couldn't get my photo to upload when i joined. Any tips?
Thanks!
Hello Michelle, How wonderful to see that you have joined this wonderful classroom. There are lots of links to blogging on the right hand side so have a good look around there. Join some of the groups and watch the discussions as there are lots of interesting web2.0 tools to be used. Have you started blogging for yourself. I shall make you a friend and you can always contact me here or on my email if you need more help.
Thanks so much Anne. I like it that you're relatively nearby - makes the connection between virtual communication and real people seem a bit less remote. i do feel like a foreigner in the web 2.0 world at the moment. so much unique jargon and so much to learn.
Hello All,
I am a teacher of middle school gifted students in the USA. I am interested in ideas for helping my students connect to others throughout the world as our focus is on cultures and communities from prehistory through @1500 CE.
I have also had experience developing and teaching in a school within a school for disconnected (not necessarily alternative school type of students) students in grades 9-12.
Finally, I am also a reading specialist and certified secondary Language Arts teacher.
I have been dabbling in developing a wiki and just recently joined classroom2.0 (even tried blogging...).

Hello Eileen, this takes us to your classroom20 page but do you have another blog site outside of classroom20 as well that you might like to share?
