Welcome Josh. Have you tried Alice and Scratch for programming? There are some amazing art tools, from the Chicago Art Institute you can make your own art portfolio . You can also design your own medievel tapastry here

I haven't used a lot of them but we have used some. I have issues with the time it takes to learn to use some of these products and for what outcome. I only see my students one full day a week so we make the time the kids are with us count. I suggest a lot of these sites to look at at home.

Hello to everyone from the SW, Kansas area. I'm an aspiring elementary teacher taking classes online, working full time as an SID/ISS teacher an at intermediate school, wife and a mother of three girls that keep me busy with their activities all week/year long.
I worked with k-3rd grade ESL students for 7 years and loved it. Now I'm trying to get my teaching certificate so I can get my own classroom.

Hi Everyone!
I'm teaching in Reston, VA, 5th grade gifted/talented classes. Lots of fun!
With my three sons and our two dogs, life is busy, of course. I'm currently applying for a doctoral degree in educational technology.
I'm just introducing blogs to my 5th grade students who are using it basically as posting, but not much discussion so far.
Great to find such an interesting place to 'hear' what other teachers are thinking about.

Hi everyone. I'm a school library media specialist in an independent Pre-K to 8th grade school. I am also in grad school for my Master's in Library Science. I am looking for ways to use 2.0 in our library. I am also working with teachers to teach 2.0 and looking for how other schools are doing professional development in 2.0. Right now I am preparing a training for teachers on tagging and social networking. Any tips or threads on that here?
