Hi! I am a Library Media Specialist at the Ramapo Central School District. I am new to the position in Ramapo but have previous experience in other library settings. I am looking to gain from this site; however, I am feeling a bit of information overload at the moment with the more than a dozen Web 2.0 applications out there. Anyway, glad to be here!
Welcome aboard--here are a few Web 2.0 tools you might have missed.

Hi, I'm a curriculum consultant from Teachers College, Columbia University. I'm also launching two new schools in New York City next year as part of the Asia Society's International Studies School Network. Hoping to connect with some international folks.
Hello, everyone. I am Val from Lake County, Illinois. I am a curriculum lead for a special education co-op and I am always looking for new ideas on how to integrate technology for my students with special needs and their teachers. I would love to connect to share ideas especially on math topics.

Hi!
I am the librarian at a middle school in Thousand Oaks, CA. I am looking for new ways to use Web 2.0 tools in the library as well as teach classroom teachers how to use them.
Hi all, My Name is Niccy Pallant and I'm a Middle School Manager in Southern Adelaide (Small city in South Australia). I teach Drama, Art, Multimedia (Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash). I am also researching Identity in relation to Web 2 applications (My Space, Face book etc) with teenagers. I LOVE travel and have just booked flights to London in March for a 7 week galavant! I was spoilt by that long American Summer break. I would like to do an exchange to the UK in 2010 or 2011. I have a much loved Kelpie Sheepdog who is nearly 20 and I help parent my goddaughter who is 12.
My name is Dena Pruitt, and I live in Winder, Georgia (about an hour from Atlanta). I teach high school English in a small non-traditional school (total of 75 students) that uses a self-paced online curriculum. I am always looking for ways to both beef up the curriculum and offer my students varied choices in their learning opportunities.
I'm interested in self directed math programs starting with Pre-Algebra. Do you know of any that are good?
