HI everyone,
I am a graduate student in the library and information science - school media master's program at Syracuse University, and this is my first ning! I joined as a means of discovering ways I can integrate Web 2.0 technologies into my future library instruction. I'm doing some student teaching this semester in Lake Placid, NY (I'm a distance student, so I live about 4 hours from Syracuse in the northern Adirondacks) and hoping to come up with some collaborative projects. Thanks to everyone for posting all this good stuff!

I teach at an Intermediate School in Napier, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. I am currently Deputy Principal at our school. I split my time between admin duties and taking specialist I.C.T classes for our Y7 & 8 students (10-13year olds). I haven't done a lot with I.C.T for the past five years (no P.D what so ever) and have very little idea what Web 2.0 is about but am on a journey of enlightenment. Any advice or tips for a complete Web 2.0 novice that any of you can share with me would be appreciated.
Hi all! I'm Steve Olivo, a middle school ELA teacher in Reading, MA. Looking forward to getting started.
Hi, everyone. I am a master's student in secondary English education at Teachers College, hoping to learn more here about bringing technology into the classroom. I'm currently student teaching 10th and 11th grade English. It's nice to meet you all!
Hey everyone I am new to this site. I was informed about this site through one of my graduate course I am taking at PACE University in NY. I will hopefully be a certified Ed Tech teacher soon. I look forward to hearing and collaborating with everyone.
