Howdy! My name is Katie Barak. I am a graduate student at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, USA. This is my third semester teaching Introduction to Popular Culture at BG. I am super passionate about using media in the classroom to reach my students and provide a multitude of understanding levels. My thesis is about incorporating media literacy in high school classrooms to encourage critical thinking and as an aid to reach the NCLB benchmarks.
I'm Clair Hutcheson from Morenci, Arizona. I've been a 4th grade classroom teacher forever and the last two years moved into educational tech.

I spent many years working with the Arizona Dept of Education to develop the teacher certification program when I worked with Pearson Evaluation Systems and enjoyed vacationing in AZ when I got the chance. My name is Robert Fleck, and I teach fourth grade in Indio, California in the heart of Coachella Valley in Southern California. I recently attended the CUE Conference in Palm Springs, and all I seemed to hear was talk about Web 2.0. I came across this site, and figured that this would be a good jumping off point for me to get better educated as to the uses that Web 2.0 provides as far as tools, and other ways to use technology to engage and inspire my students.
