That is a great start -- 35 teachers.
Good luck to you.

Hello,

My name is Trevor Owens, I work as the technology evangelist at the Center for History and New Media at George Mason University.

Anyone interested should check out zotero, a new research tool we have developed of interest to teachers and students.
You guys developed zotero?! Way to go!! Wow. I recommend it all the time.
Holy smokes! Thanks for zotero. I use it all the time and I'm currently helping my students and English teachers at my school put it to work. Welcome to the network!
Jane Krauss, Eugene Oregon USA. You can see my profile and what I'm about on my associated blog. I was invited here a while ago and when I started scanning members I found many colleagues, past associates, friends, people I'd like to count as friends... I look forward to learning together. jk
Hi everyone.

My name is Mac and I'm an instructional designer at Emerson College. I made the jump into education after 10 years in the Web media world and I find that there's significant overlap between many of the Web-centric techniques I learned in the for-profit 'verse and ongoing developments in education.

I'm always on the lookout for new techniques and tools, so I look forward to hearing/reading/seeing what other folks have to say!

Hi, I'm Peter Goetz. I live and teach middle school in Marin County, California, just north of San Francisco. I've taught 6th grade (ancient history and English) for many years, and I just started teaching technology in 7th and 8th. I got very excited after attending NECC 2007 about the possibilities for collaborative projects and teacher sharing with Web 2.0.
Hi Peter

Welcome from another sixth grade teacher from Massachusetts.

Greetings from Cardinal Country (World Champion Baseball team!) I was born and still reside in beautiful St. Louis Missouri, in the middle of the United States. I am a teacher by trade, now an Instructional Technology Specialist for a school district and diving into Web 2.0 to make my life (and the people I work with) easier, better and FUN!
Hello everyone. My name is James Folkestad. I am an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Colorado State University (CSU). I am glad to be a member of this group. I have already learned several things from several members. COOL stuff.

I am teaching a course titled "Educational Technology and Assessment" at CSU. I plan to learn from and introduce students to 2.0 technologies. If anyone is teaching a similar course at a University (or other institution) I would love to hear from you.

Best regards,

James
