Hello there. Julia Osteen here. I am the Technology Instructional Lead Teacher for Greater Atlanta Christian School, a private K-12 school located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, USA. I support teachers with their use of technology as a tool for effective learning. I have used class blogmeister with my students for two years and am excited about what web 2.0 can do for my students. I plan to work on motivating students and giving my students a voice while effectively implementing several of the tools I found out about during the NECC 2007 conference. We have 35 other teachers who have made a committment to using and helping other teachers use technology effectively for learning. These folks are our Technology Guides. We use LoTi as a focal point so that all teachers can have a common vision for instruction and technology use.
I'm Greg Marten, an instructional technologist who works for Lenawee Intermediate School District in SE Michigan, USA. I really enjoy partnering with teachers and students in our county on various technology-infused projects.
Jane Krauss, Eugene Oregon USA. You can see my profile and what I'm about on my associated blog. I was invited here a while ago and when I started scanning members I found many colleagues, past associates, friends, people I'd like to count as friends... I look forward to learning together. jk
My name is Mac and I'm an instructional designer at Emerson College. I made the jump into education after 10 years in the Web media world and I find that there's significant overlap between many of the Web-centric techniques I learned in the for-profit 'verse and ongoing developments in education.
I'm always on the lookout for new techniques and tools, so I look forward to hearing/reading/seeing what other folks have to say!
Hi, I'm Peter Goetz. I live and teach middle school in Marin County, California, just north of San Francisco. I've taught 6th grade (ancient history and English) for many years, and I just started teaching technology in 7th and 8th. I got very excited after attending NECC 2007 about the possibilities for collaborative projects and teacher sharing with Web 2.0.
Greetings from Cardinal Country (World Champion Baseball team!) I was born and still reside in beautiful St. Louis Missouri, in the middle of the United States. I am a teacher by trade, now an Instructional Technology Specialist for a school district and diving into Web 2.0 to make my life (and the people I work with) easier, better and FUN!
