Hello... I am Brett Hoover, a former college athletics administrator who is transitioning to the establishment of small public charter schools. Originally from Ohio, I've bounced around in my previous profession, from Texas to Pennsylvania to New Jersey to South Carolina, but now I am settling in Indiana for this new venture. The organization — School Building Communities — plans its first school — a high school — to open in Indianapolis in the fall of 2011. To learn more about our organization, visit http://www.sbcworks.org. I am largely responsible for the content of the website, so I would love any feedback that you can provide.
Welcome Brett, look forward to working with you this year. Checked out your web site last night. Nice work! There is a lot of great information about the organization.
Very good layout Brett. I am a high school teacher and I hope that one day time will allow me to compile all of the information that I accumulated over the years into a web page.
Hello,
I am Ilpo Soini from Keskuspuisto Vocational College from Helsinki from Finland. I am information specialist and I am working in the project of Special education and blended learning.
I teach at Chestatee Middle School in Gainesville, Ga. I just got a classroom technology grant through my district to use iTouch and video cameras for classroom collaboration and lab reporting.

I am interested in finding out how others use the iTouch, especially in Science, and how some of the little challenges are overcome. I will get my equipment in about a month and look forward to sharing how it is going.
I'm a teacher with eight years of teaching in science (middle school, high school boarding, Gifted, bilingual). I've recently taken an opportunity at the University of Arizona in the department of Computer Science to work on projects that will hopefully improve science and math education.

The more educators feedback we can gather, the better our projects will be!
Hello everyone! My name is Cheska Lorena and I'm a brand new secondary science educator, relocated from Vegas NV to upstate NY. I am delaying my first year of teaching by going right after a master degree in curriculum instruction and educational technology. Very excited about being part of this great network and looking forward to learning and sharing with all of you :)
Rick Snoeyink from Palos Heights, IL. I teach at a private college in the education department. I'm interested in connecting with other teacher educators who want to integrate technology
Rick,

Hey y'all! I'm Heather Morin, media specialist at a middle school in southern Georgia. Near Valdosta. I have the greatest job ever! In addition to inspiring the love of reading through great books, I get to inspire teachers who love to teach. I'm hoping that introducing them to web 2.0 will bring about a revolution in teaching. I am planning to introduce new ideas and concepts to my teacher with this school year's technology training which kicks off this Friday, September 25. :-)
Hi Elaine. I am doing my student practicum in a first grade class and would like to know some of the ways you use the SMART board with your students.
