Hi, I'm Jil. I am an instructional designer for the school of nursing at the University of Southern MS. I have all sorts of interests, from teaching instructors about tools they can integrate into their courses, to augmented reality, simulations, and iphone app development. I'm also interested in assistive technology development. I worked for a facility for the intellectually/developmentally disabled for nearly 7 years before coming into higher ed. On twitter I am ITJil and my blog is at http://itjil.blogspot.com. It's good to be here, I love learning and teaching.
I am a fourth grade teacher in Connecticut. I am one of the few lucky teachers to get an interactive wipeboard in my room and am also one of the few who helped design our new district website. I am extremely interested in using technology to take my lessons to the next level. I am currently looking into creating a tech club for grades 3-5 and have just written a grant for IPOD touch for my classroom.
If any one out there has any great ideas relating to technology at my level I would love to hear from you.

Hi! My name is Candace Musawwir. I teach 7th grade special education in NJ. I am currently enrolled in Wilkes University's Instructional Media program and this is my first time using Ning. 'm Sherry Lynn McGregor, a chemistry teacher from Nelson, BC, Canada. I stumbled across the site on a Professional Development Day. I have a Smart Board in my room this year and was looking for ways to make lessons interactive. Thanks in advance for all the information I am about to receive!
Hi! My name is Michelle and I am a fifth grade teacher in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. This is my fourth year teaching fifth grade. Prior to my experiences in public school, I worked at a private daycare, primarily with preschool and kindergarten aged students. I have just begun using Ning, so I am new to this networking community. My only experiences with it thus far, is through the Wilkes University instructional setting. I have created my own social networking site, Committed to Creating, Congregating, and Connecting: Technology is a Means to a Brighter Future! (http://commitcreatecongregateconnect.ning.com/profile/Michelle) and have posted an initial discussion topic in my forum. I invite Ning in Education members to visit my page and welcome your contributions.
