Hello everybody,
Thank you for accepting me to your ccommunity. I am a teacher of English and very much interested in new ideas, new approaches, new technologies. It is useful for a teacher to keep updated, and belonging to a group of people with the same interests is a very important thing.
Hi, everyone. My name's Rafael Lanzetti, I teach Translation Studies at private universities in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Glad to become part of this community!

Hello, My name is Ellen Zelinske and I am a first grade teacher in Reading, PA. I am enrolled in the Instructional Media program with Wilkes University/Discovery to earn a Master's degree. I enjoy learning about the latest technology and hope to gain lots of tools to use with my students in the classroom. This is my very first experience with Ning so I have a lot to learn.
I am a 7th grade Keyboarding and Computer Applications teacher from Mountain Top, PA who is currently away from the classroom to teach teachers how to infuse technology into their lessons to make them more interactive for the students using whiteboard technology and student response systems. I am hoping to gain information from the nings I have joined to get ideas for my teachers across various curriculums on using the Web 2.0 tools with the hardware and software installed in their classrooms.
Hello Rebecca, welcome to classroom 2.0.
Hello World! Ok now that we got the geek pleasantries out of the way, my name is Jesus Moreno and I'm an IT guy. Now, I'm not the typical "my network must be protected and locked down" IT guy. I currently work for the California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) in Kern County. Working for CTAP has helped me understand the need to have an open and manageable environment for curriculum and technology to mingle and promote student achievement. I'm always looking for what the next best technology practice will be in education. Stop by and say hi sometime :)
Hi I'm Jen. I teach at a small catholic school in western, PA. I work with middle school students, teaching 6th grade Science, 7th grade Digital Art, and 8th grade Journalism. I love using technology! I am constantly looking for new ideas.
Hello All, I am Lauren Coakley, the technology training coordinator for Mount Aloysius College, a small private college located in Cresson, Pennsylvania. I manage our primary course management system, Blackboard. My position has required me to teach Microsoft Office software to students. I am currently enrolled in the Wilkes University/Discovery Education Instructional Media graduate program. I hope to contribute to your discussions and to learn more about Ning and Web 2.0.

Hi my name is Jason Neuman. I am an Instructional Technology Specialist (ITS) from Spring Hill, FL. Spring Hill is located about 30 miles North of Tampa, FL. As an ITS my main role is to teach teachers how to infuse technology into their curriculum. I hope to learn a great deal from this network.
Hi Jason!
Your job sounds really interesting. Our reality in Argentina is completely different to yours. How do children learn at school? I mean, do they have computers in their classrooms or they have a special computer lab where they go a certain number of times per week?
Welcome to classroom 2.0!
Nanci from Argentina.
