Hi, My name is Iain Cook-Bonney. I am an ICT Facilitator for a government funded ICT PD cluster of nine schools. I have about 100 teachers that I am supporting in their journeys integrating ICT into their classroom programmes. It is an interesting job to say the least!
I am fascinated by the wealth of web2.0 tools out there and am keenly tracking down those that will make a real impact/difference in the classroom. I look forward to your help and feedback!
I am Kevin Hodgson and I teach sixth grade in Western Massachusetts, USA. I am also the technology liaison for the Western Massachusetts Writing Project. My interests here are in connecting with others but also to see if this style of social network is something to consider for future projects.

So thanks for the warm greetings and interesting conversations.

I have my own personal Weblog but I am also in the midst of creating a new blog community around the concepts of using technology to tell ... (with Bonnie, who just joined this network). We are hoping to share resources, ideas and frustration/success in integrating some aspects of the Web 2.0 into digital storytelling techniques.

Right now, we are engaged in a Collaborative ABC Movie Project, in which a dozen teachers around t...
I work at an independent school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I've come across so many references to Classroom 2.0 lately; it's time to see what it's all about. I'm very interested in seeing how Web 2.0 changes education--and people's cognition. Just interested in learning all I can, and in sharing the new technology tools with my colleagues and students.
My students and children are teaching me a lot. I'm thankful for their teaching and encouragement.
Oh, by the way, I'm an "oldster," a teacher with 30 years of experience. I still love teaching, and especially love this new age for teaching, with all the pioneering that's going on.
I'm Marcia Alessi. I teach middle school science in Los Angeles. Before teaching, I practiced law in the civil litigation area. I have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction/technology. I learned about this forum through a CUE conference last month and am anxious to participate.
Hey, everyone! Greetings from just outside Milwaukee, WI, though I'm a native of Michigan. I am in my 13th year teaching high school English (and history, sometimes), and I've always been a tech geek. I've been rejuvenated lately by the possibilities of web 2.0 technologies in the classroom, and I've been playing around with how best to do that (and when and where and if...)

I've also become (by default) the "blogger guy" in my building; consequently, I've been asked/encouraged to run some workshops and teach a summer academy on Web 2.0 tools in the classroom. Exciting, but a bit daunting!

Looking forward to the networking!
Hi, everyone, I'm Susan Tsairi, I live in Israel and teach in elementary school. My quest at the moment is to find web 2.0 tools that support Hebrew text. I keep a list on my blog: http://iteachr.blogspot.com
Hey y'all...I'm Nate Stearns from a school a bit North of Seattle, WA. We're currently dealing with a 1-to-1 laptop adoption which is amazingly exciting and remarkably disruptive.
"remarkably disruptive" - I love it!

Greetings!
I am David James and I am the Inclusion Facilitator for Kaufman ISD in Kaufman, Texas. As a Special Education teacher, I am always looking for innovative ways to capture students attention and get them excited about learning. Web 2.0 could not be any more up my alley. There are thousands of teachers who know more about 2.0 than I do, but I know more than anyone else I know. I am hoping to learn and connect from you guys as I work to break out of the "technology black hole" that is Kaufman, Texas.
Hello, all. I'm Scott Schwister from St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, where it's currently. . . snowing. Of course it is. But we're all hale, hearty, and rosy-cheeked. I work in the Graduate School of Education at Hamline University.
I'm Shayne Train and I teach visual art and computers to high-school girls in Ontario, Canada. I am facinated by all the technology of Web 2.0 and am exploring ways to use it in all classrooms. I hope to give a class to fellow teachers next year so that they can learn some of the possibilities.
Hola! I am a Spanish teacher from southwestern Pensylvania, USA. I considered myself fairly technological person until I attended a seminar today and realized just how much I don't know. I embrace technology (lifelong inner geek, lol) and want to plunge in headfirst to the ever-expanding world of elearning, for both me and my students.

I'm excited to be here and can't wait to see where the endless possibilities/realities will take me, changing education as we know it.
