My name is Carolyn Pepe and I live in Irvine, CA.   I just received my Master's Degree in Education.  During my Master's program we spent a lot of time (three semesters) learning how to integrate technology into the curriculum.  I would often post during my Master's program that using technology scares me, but I was willing to learn more.  I joined this and other technology websites to learn more about meaningful ways to integrating technology successfully into the classroom.

I am currently looking for a full time position in order to share all of the wonderful things I have learned throughout my continued education.

Hi, my name is Jay Larson, I'm an Art and Communication Technology teacher in Ontario, Canada. I'm mostly lurking until I have something of value to add to a discussion.

Howdy! I'm an educational media designer and a co-founder of a small startup in San Francisco called Launchpad Toys (http://launchpadtoys.com). We're building Constructionist software tools that enable kids to create digital media through play. Our first product, Toontastic, is a storytelling and animation tool for the iPad and we've been working with a number of schools here in the Bay Area this spring with great success. If you're interested in giving Toontastic a spin or perhaps piloting it in your classroom, please let me know - I'd love to chat!

Hi, Andy!

This sounds great!  We are going to have some elementary campuses working with Ipads this school year.  I would love to chat with you more!

Hi,

My name is Rachelle Wooten.  I am an Educational Technology Specialist, wife and mother of 5! :)  I enjoy training teachers on technology tools that will help them reach and teach their students.  I love learning!  I love sharing!  I am looking forward to learning so much from you all!

Here is a blog/podcast that I created last year for my staff: http://mymotivationalminute.blogspot.com/ I was a little inconsistent and I am planning on revamping it a little next school year.  I would love to hear your feedback!

Hello Everyone!

I'm Rachael.  I teach Head Start in Pennsylvania.  I'm glad to be here.  I'm looking to collaborate with other early childhood educators and to elevate the field.  My classroom is inclusive and the community is diverse, so I am especially interested in tips for working with duel-language-learners and children with exceptionalities.  I'm also happy to share what I have learned along the way.

Hey!

I presently am teaching Year 4 at St Leonard's College in Melbourne Australia. Mother to 2 children (2 and 6).

Passionate about ICT in education.

Hi - I'm Bob Saxon from Fort Bragg on the northern California coast. I teach in an alternative high school. I think our district might be a little bit behind the rest of the country in terms of using digital technology. So I would like to hear ideas from others, specifically alternative ed teachers, about how you're using social networking sites in your classrooms to enhance student learning.
