Hey, I checked this website out and the flashcard aspect looks cool. Do eductors use as like a powerpoint and then reiterate the flashcards or how does it work in the classroom?

Hello,

My name is Kathy Hartman. I teach third grade in Las Vegas. I've been teaching for six years. I love learning about and using technology with my students, but sometimes I feel as if I am just throwing new programs at them. Therefore, I decided to get an endorsement in educational technology. That's what leads me here. I'm excited by the wealth of information and strong collaboration provided here.

Hello. I teach fifth grade in Las Vegas, NV. I began teaching in 1998. The only Internet-connected computer in the school was in my classroom. I am not a digital native, but I barely have an accent as I have used technology since I was six. I love the idea of collaborating with other like-minded teachers. I want all your information!

I don't know if I would qualify as a "model" technology infused classroom, but I do use it in every aspect of my teaching and my students use it in nearly every aspect of their learning.  My class uses a mobile laptop cart for writing projects, research projects and interactive apps, we use a mobile iPad cart that I received through grant funding this year for presentations, interactive apps and notetaking, and I use a SMART board for instruction through interactive SMART Notebook files, or internet resource instruction.  Check out the web 2.0 resources that I have taught my students on my Symbaloo webmix (it's found by searching fentaloo).  Anyway, on a more broad scale, which is what you were looking for, I feel that a technology infused classroom and curriculum involves not merely using technology as the teacher, but having students use technology, and for more than just creating a PowerPoint or typing.

Hey Tricia,

That sounds awesome what kinid of apps do you use that allow students to be interactive? Do you think that all content can be enhanced by technology? Thanks for your suggestions
