Hello. I'm Trent Dudei from central Wisconsin, USA. I'm encouraged to see so many people interested in pushing the boundaries of 'how' we educate!
Hello Trent,
Welcome to Classroom 2.0. We look forward to hearing more about your work. Yes it is more than the 'what' but also the 'how' and 'why' of learning and teaching that comes through quite strongly in some of the forums.
Enjoy looking around and adding when ready,
Hello everyone, I have just recently joined Classroom 2.0, I am an ESL Teacher in Italy, I have just recently thrown myself into online teaching which I love and the whole aspect of technology really interests me I would like to learn more, it fascinates me...
Hello Aniya,
You sound so positive about your job which is very inspiring. I think you will find CR2.0 a great place to explore the potential of new technologies and online learning.
Thanks for joining,
Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well. I am from Sydney, Australia. I work specifically with web 2.0 products and run a couple of start ups here in Australia. I have just recently launched one with the education sector in mind. I have posted a discussion about this in the Shameless Vendor Discussions forum :) Would love to get your feedback on here.

Looking forward to having some discussions around other web2.0 products for education.
Hi Ian,
Wow, must have a look at the forum and add a comment. Yes, Web 2.0 certainly is taking a more prominent place in schools at the moment. There are still some areas in education though, that teachers and students cannot access many online resources that can hinder the uptake of these emerging trends.
All the best with the venture,
Hi, I can't remember whether I have already done this or not so here we go maybe again.

My name is Heather Davis and I am a Canadian from a small town outside of Toronto called Paris, Ontario.

For the past 4 years and the coming future I live in Beijing, China and teach Grade 4/Year 5 at Yew Chung International School of Beijing. We use the National Curriculum of Great Britain as our foundation. For the past two years I have had a Promethean IWB and our school is very open to technology.

Glad to be in touch.....
Hi Heather,
Your teaching career sounds really interesting. I think you will find quite a few discussions here about the use of different technologies including the IWBs. If you look down the right hand side you will notice links to 'tools' and IWBs is one of them.
Enjoy looking around,

My name is Jayne Peters and I am from Nova Scotia, Canada. I work with both teachers and their students helping them integrate technology into their classrooms. I am currently doing some research into social software and stumbled across this site. I am looking forward to participating.

Fantastic Jayne. It is always nice to have someone stumble upon Classroom 2.0. It really is a great network of educators and people really interest in student learning.
Have fun looking around and seeing what there is on offer,
I am Jo from Western Australia - I teach technology and Library skills
I have just found classroom 2.0 - I have got heaps of good things and ideas from the site
Many thanks everyone
It is so much fun learning new thing, especially with Web 2.0. I was a newbie early this year, and still learning heaps. The network has lots of links to 'tools' that you can explore. Look down the right hand side of the page and you will find lots of topics for discussions.
The best part of Classroom 2.0 is that it is 'open' anytime you need it. People from all over the world are always willing to support and give ideas.
