Hi Carolyn,

I live at Jacksonville Beach, FL and teach English Honors II Stanton College Preparatory School. I have been using web 2.0 tools in my class this year and my students really enjoy writing on our blog & using our wiki to add graphics to vocabulary study. I am interested in collaborating with another school or class.

Class website
I have done online book discussions using Moodle. Let me know if you would like to see one in action.
It was made for teachers, so you don't have to worry about unwanted posts or creeps trying to contact your students. We are just getting started, but I am impressed so far!
My name is Lindsey Anderson and I teach Middle and High School language arts in Tama, Iowa. I work with all Native American students and am interested in developing their 21st century learning skills. I don't have very many tech savvy colleagues at school, so I am looking to connect with others who enjoy infusing technology into their teaching.
Hope to hear from you!
Hello, I just found Classroom 2.0 because of an assignment. For my masters class at University of New England we had to use technology to present our knowledge of differentiated instruction to our colleagues. I made a blog on the topic.

While working on my blog, I discovered that teachers are all over the web sharing with each other. This is especially thrilling to me because I live and work in Cairo, Egypt. Currently, I teach special education at American International School. Sometimes I feel very isolated from other teachers so far from home. I am originally from Vinton, Ohio and teach at Eastern High School in Reedsville when I am in the states.
Hello! Great site! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm not a teacher, but work in educational research and am interested in examining how ed tech influences future academic growth and cognitive development. Great to be here!
My name is Aron Sterling and I work in Fairfax, Virginia. We are exploring using iPod Touches inside the classroom. Right now we have gotten the iPods to test out, but have not started in the classroom. We have done a lot of research on apps and rules for 1-1 projects and research on the impact of mobile devices and 1-1 implementation projects.
One of the things I have tried to stick to is free apps. This has become a major headache as some of the apps I liked have added advertisements.
I guess I am looking for ideas on how the advertisements have come into people's thinking. How are you handling this or are you?
Thanks in advance.
You might post this in the discussion section--you'll get more press. Welcome aboard.
Hi, all. My name is Jodi and I teach in Toronto, Canada. I've taught mostly English, but also some Drama and Co-operative Education (job internship).

My school is k-12 with a 1-to-1 laptop environment for students in grades 9-12 and mobile laptop labs for the younger students. I've been around computers most of my life (starting with our Apple ][e!), started on the net in about 1994, and I'm an early adopter of most things we use at school. Still, I'm always on the lookout for more ideas!

I've also recently started blogging here: based on my experiences teaching AP Language.
Wow Jodi, Nice site! When I run across an exceptional teacher blog I add it to my Teachers Talk page. My site is intended to help teachers in the process of differentiated instruction. I hope to hear more of your work. You have some wonderful ideas here that I hope you don't mind passing along to other teachers. We appreciate it.

Best Wishes,
Good morning,
This is my first experience with classroom 2.0 or any other like this-I am trying to get into this morning's discussion re: Twitter for Teachers (help?!- thanks)
I have been on Ning only a few times and I am hoping to improve my effectiveness in the classroom by communicating with other teachers. I teach 2nd grade and I love what I do. I started teaching in the mid 80's; however, I took about 12 years off to be a stay at home mom. I have been back now for four years and I enjoy it more now that my children are grown.
