Dr. Vega,

Your book will go out today. I hope you enjoy the read, and please do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to use my book for your classroom studies. Best, Doug Wallace

Dear Douglas,

Thanks.  I hope to receive the book soon. God Bless!

Dr. Violeta Vega

My name is Chris and I'm a high school math teacher in Orlando, FL, at a brand-new K-12 charter school.  The school has plans of becoming a technology-rich, 1:1 school in the near future.  I am in my 13th year as a math teacher; the past three years were spent teaching exclusively online for Connections Academy, but I returned to a brick-and-mortar classroom this year.  I'm trying to bring technology into my room as much as possible, given my limited resources (read: none), so here's hoping I can get some ideas.

Chris,

Thank you for writing. My focus is on the sociology of human behavior, particularly the culture of poverty and the communication gap between the various social economic classes. I'm certain there are organizations out there that can and will help you, particularly those foundations involved in providing technology to schools. I'm sorry I don't have any references for you. I do wish you the very best in finding a solution. Don't give up. There are a lot of volunteers willing to help. It's just a matter of matching up with the right foundation. Good luck. Best, Doug

Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I am from Australia! Excited to be here!
I trained originally in Film and Television production, before moving into media education. I am now involved at looking at New Media in the media education classroom and have been really enjoying the research process. I also have two young children at home, and I document their own media habits in my blog.

Welcome Elizabeth!

Thank you!

I have taught classes at all grade levels, K-College, and am most interested in the use of digital resources/applications to enable students of any age to work in their areas of interests and strengths with passionate, caring instructor/mentors.

Tyler, great work you have done at a very tender age- i am sure you will invent something
