Hi all,
I'm James Yong. I was born in Malaysia, but have been living in Singapore for some time. I work for Cisco Systems & oversee strategic government & education accounts in South-East Asia. Very glad to be here & hope to learn from all of you.
Hi, I'm Ted from Northern Saskatchewan, Canada. I teach and work in an online school environment set up to provide northern residents with a flexible alternative for completing high school.
Howdy! I'm Tracy from Kamloops, BC Canada. I'm a Teacher-Librarian at a K-7 school, and am just finishing my M.Ed. from the University of Alberta. The focus of my degree is Teacher-Librarianship, which includes courses and elective opportunities on information literacy and educational technology. The more I learn about it, the more passionate I am about integrating it with curriculum. I will be joining the Library 2.0 group as well, since it seems like it would be another discussion group where I could learn and grow as a professional.
Hello everyone. I'm from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and teach at the University of Saskatchewan. Here is a link to the wonders of Canada for all the geography buffs http://www.cbc.ca/sevenwonders/results.html
Hi
Philip Griffin, an ordinary Y6 (10-11yo) teacher from Reading UK. Attempting to use Learning Platforms to extend the classroom. As well as being ICT coordinator I'm Assessment for Learning coordinator- which means I'm interested in how children learn and improving our practice.
Oh, and by the way, the picture is surprisingly accurate, if you were wondering.

Hi, Kerry!
It is fun to think of how global Classroom 2.0 is, but you can still visit with people just down the road. I teach 7th and 8th grade Special Education (inclusion, that is) in Kaufman, Texas. Welcome to the community!
Hi, everybody. Mark Ellis working from Gloucestershire, UK. Very new to web 2.0 concept - just wondering how it passed over my head so quickly!

I teach English to 11-18 year olds, by the way. I am particularly enthusiastic about IWBs (Promethean at our place) and the 'Inspiration' software, which gives a flavour of what I do, perhaps.
I am just learning how to run my Promethean Board. I gave a quiz on it and EVERY student passed. I think they got so in to seeing their results post, they took more time thinking through the answers. Now I just need to figure out more interactive lessons so I can engage my students with the flipcharts.
Hello. I'm Linda Holt from Barboursville, Virginia USA. Let's talk!
I'm from Kansas in the middle of the USA. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and Tech Integration Facilitator for my school district...this after 30 years in the middle school classroom. I am looking forward to getting in touch with others in my field and getting some new and interesting ideas for the teachers in our district. Happy to be part of Classroom 2.0 and learning more about all the new tools.
Hi everyone! I'm Brad from Ohio. I teach in a middle school and I am working on my masters in classroom technology. I'm constantly on the lookout for new ways to use technology with my students so I am excited about becoming a member of this online community.
