Is anyone planning to attend Alan November's BLC conference in Boston in July?

I will be attending for the first time, and am looking forward to hearing Tim Tyson, Marco Torres, Dr. Yong Zhao, and others. My district is paying for me to attend the main conference as well as two days of pre-conference workshops.

Have any of you ever attended this conference? What can you tell me about it?

(This is not a plug, per se, simply an inquiry. I have no affiliation with Alan November other than having read some his books and articles.)

I attended this conference last year and it was the best technology conference I have ever been to. I learned so much. So often I attend technology conferences and most of the presentations are things I am already doing or know about. This conference was for me cutting edge. It is what got me so excited about Web 2.0 and started me on a Web 2.0 journey. I wish I could afford to go again this year (I got grant funding last year). You are going to have an amazing time.
Plug away ... what is the conference about?

Yes- I will be there! I am looking forward to it! I have heard Alan on several occasions and know it is going to be great! Kevin the link is http://www.novemberlearning.com/Default.aspx?tabid=29.
Anybody else going?
Elizabeth, thanks for the feedback. I am very lucky to be going. I have been listening to podcasts Alan's site and have encouraged our Library Information Technology Literacy (LITL) department to purchase some of his materials.

Barbara, perhaps we will bump into one another at a session. I notice that you are coming from CA. The conference attracts a broad audience of attendees as far as I can tell including from the international community.
I attended Alan's conferences at Stanford U in CA & in Rhode Island. I loved them! You meet so many great educators! You learn a lot and you share a lot! If you don't bring along a buddy..... that's OK..... you will make new friends during the conference!
I attended last year for the first time as well. Went to MIT for a Scratch preconference...absolutely amazing! Alan and his team are FANTASTIC! You must hear Marco Torres, Brian Null, and Lainie McGann's breakout sessions. I would be going again this year, but will be spending my summer in Thailand! Have a great time!
I attended and loved it there was so much information that i am still sorting through it all
