Digital ink pad

Digital ink. I've never used it, but I'm planning to buy a tablet PC just to see what it can do. For $300 at Harvey Norman - I want it to supplement my classroom computer and data projector, creating graphics and text on the big screen.

Is any CR2.0 member using this equipment? Can you please tell me how you are using it, and if you think it is effective for what you want to do?
