In my education technology class at Colorado State University we have find a a way to use technology in our classroom. We decided to look at accounting. We want find a way to teach income statements and other accounting reports in a interesting and interactive. Accounting being a dry subject it is a difficult task.

So, I'm wondering if you could convert some spreadsheets that demonstrate p&l/balance sheet relationships into Google Sheets, and then do some real-time editing to show the changes that take place when values are changed?

Could you have the students make a presentation video of accounting concepts?

What about a wiki of accounting terms that they have to contribute the definitions to, or have to show certain examples, creating a wiki resource for the rest of the class?
Start business simulation. Use the old D&D dungeon master notion and have the instructor lay out the "campaign".

A blog/twitter/tumbl/something rss feed to act as activity ticker
Responses required by students (maybe in Googledocs)
Winner is the one with the best results and cleanest books at the end.
